Half of my wants to dive in and start playing, and the other half is trying to decide whether to start a new game and see how the romance has changed. XOErr, but yeah! Are the changes major or what?1 I'm one of those weirdoes who avoids watching trailers so everything is brand new to me when I play - even snippets stick in my head and I find myself slipping out of the story and wondering how a pseudo-spoilers I saw fits in.

That means that Triss will say 'Well' less and Yen will return with less 'Geralt'. I know:) I just want start new game with this dialogues.Yennerfer is still my only choice (acording to books) I think that Triss is. She truly loves Geralt and the things she has done to be with him over the years.

It's a weird love-story that deserves a happy end. Originally posted by:I know:) I just want start new game with this dialogues.Yennerfer is still my only choice (acording to books) I think that Triss is.

She truly loves Geralt and the things she has done to be with him over the years. It's a weird love-story that deserves a happy end.And of course there's nothing like unrequited love. Cast a spell on a guy with amnesia who doesn't remember telling you how he only thinks of you as a friend and doesn't want to be with you - absolutely nothing creepy or wrong about that. But hey, so long as one of them is in love, that's okay, right? Originally posted by:I think that Triss is.

But hey, so long as one of them is in love, that's okay, right? In fiction, all is fair in love and war.Secondly, you're applying real life morals to a story about a make believe world, with make believe people and monsters, with a make believe fake old english dialect and where alien space elves fall out of portals created by alien space navigator-elves. (Dune, anyone?). Originally posted by:And of course there's nothing like unrequited love. (Dune, anyone?)What the hell does any of that have to do with the romance?? Triss and Yen are sorceresses, remember? They don't exist either. We're all playing a game. And sometimes I seriously wish that people would just remember that and forget about the books because the games are NOT the books. But thanks for the reality check.

Yes, I'm applying real life morals to the game. You know why? Because that's my personal preference and guess what? Ignore and move on.

The very fact that they've broken up several times over the years and gotten back together because of the djinn's spell should be proof enough that those two do not belong together. That Yen has discovered she's really in love with him at long last - when she honestly believes that it's possible to actually lose him once and for all - is too damn little, too damn late. She's treated him horribly throughout their relationship.

She's had contempt for him. Treated him like a attack dog, tossed him treats and sent him to do her dirty work - and all that's from the books. Deceit does not make for happiness.

And constantly making him do things that she knows he hates or would refuse to do, isn't very nice to say the least. That she feels justified in her actions is no excuse either.
