Introduction Music notation software, like all other software, needs to be functional, practical, and also pleasing-to-use. The specialized function and complexity of music notation often contributes to the cost of notation programs. If you are like me, though, you like free stuff, especially if it works. I am working on a piece that combines western instruments with Greek Byzantine singers who read only their neumatic notation. I have a font. Hi,Not sure if I'm in the right place or not, but I was hoping somebody here might be able to help me -I am attempting to use the EZ font package on a Mactintosh running the current version of OSX (Snow Leopard) and Word 2008 for Mac (version 12.2.4). I don get any error message installing the font, but when I launch EZ template.dot, everything looks fine until I start trying to type in neumes. They even have the digamma character (the combined st) which isvery handy for some of the longer syllables, and that character that's o and u combinedinto a single character, just like the real Greek chant books.
